Celebrating the first, final and renewable vows at the Rosary Order

The celebration of the first and final and renewable vows always takes place on the same date each year, the day of the feast of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus, on August 15th. A heavenly wedding we await each year where we witness God’s love and His grace in the hearts of young women who live to serve Him and the Church. The Divine Sacrifice was presided by His Excellency Bishop Pier battista Pizzabella, and assisted by a group of fellow priests.

Mary Mouawad and Sandra Awad took their first vows while listening carefully to two verses of faith in the words of the Prophet Isaiah: “Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” (Isa 49:16)

General President, Mother Bibian Zakaria, and fellow Sisters witnessed the taking of the final vows of Fadia Masaadeh and Rita Tavitian and chanted together (Psalms 60:5-6): “Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem, and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.””

Before the communion, Sisters Joanna Qandah, Rawan Ibrahim, Alfonsina Daoud, Rita Ziadat, Christina Masarweh, Rital Aqel, Mariam Al Baabish, Nadine Shaaban, Hanady Joury, Teresa Qaraa’a, and Rand Hamarneh renewed their temporary vows. The Lord accompanied their journey in discovering His love, day after day, drawing strength from Him to live loving their neighbours, and the apostolic service with the joy of giving.
